Law Enforcement Guidelines
1. Overview
CupidCrowd (operated by RevClip LLC) responds to legal requests from law enforcement agencies for user information in accordance with applicable law. This page explains what legal process is required, how to submit a request, and what to expect. It does not apply to requests from private parties, civil litigants, or individuals โ those should be directed through appropriate legal counsel.
2. Legal Process Required
We disclose user information only in response to valid legal process, appropriately scoped to the type of data requested:
- Basic subscriber information (name, email address, account creation date, IP address at signup) โ a valid subpoena.
- Non-content account records (login history, device information, safety reports filed against or by an account) โ a court order or subpoena, depending on jurisdiction.
- Content of communications (chat messages, photos, profile content) โ a search warrant supported by probable cause, consistent with the Stored Communications Act (18 U.S.C. ยง 2703) and equivalent state and international law.
All requests must be issued by a governmental entity with proper jurisdiction, on official letterhead, and must identify the specific account(s) at issue (by email, username, or user ID where possible).
3. Emergency Disclosure Requests
If you believe there is an emergency involving imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to a person, submit an emergency disclosure request to the contact below with "EMERGENCY REQUEST" in the subject line. Include the nature of the emergency, the specific information needed, and your official agency contact information. We evaluate each request in good faith and respond as quickly as possible โ an emergency request does not guarantee disclosure and does not replace proper legal process for a follow-up formal request.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as an account is active, plus 30 days after deletion to allow reactivation. Safety-related logs (user reports and moderation actions) are retained for 2 years to support law enforcement and trust & safety investigations. After account deletion, personal information is purged from active systems within 90 days; encrypted backups may persist up to 90 days before permanent deletion. This is consistent with our Privacy Policy.
5. How to Submit a Request

We may require service via a method that allows us to verify the legitimacy of the request. We reserve the right to charge reasonable costs for responding to unusually broad or burdensome requests, as permitted by law.
