Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CupidCrowd ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the App. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and RevClip LLC, a veteran-owned company and the operator of CupidCrowd ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Eligibility — 18+ Only
You must be at least 18 years old to use CupidCrowd. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data. You may only create one account, and it must be for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at security@cupidcrowd.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We may terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, bio, etc.). By posting content, you grant CupidCrowd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and reproduce your content solely to operate the App. You represent that you own all rights to your content and that it does not infringe third-party rights. You must not post content that is obscene, harassing, illegal, or otherwise in violation of these Terms.
5. Community Voting System
CupidCrowd's matchmaking relies on genuine community participation. You agree to vote honestly based on your sincere assessment of compatibility. Coordinated manipulation, bot-driven voting, voting in exchange for payment or favors, and all forms of voting fraud are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination. Community scores are aggregated user opinions and do not constitute our endorsement of any pairing.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You may not: (a) use the App for any illegal purpose; (b) harass, threaten, or intimidate other users; (c) post sexually explicit content or content involving minors in any way; (d) solicit money, financial information, or gifts from other users; (e) create fake profiles or impersonate any person; (f) reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the App or its systems; (g) distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages; or (h) share another user's personal information without their consent.
7. CupidCrowd Premium Subscription
Title: CupidCrowd Premium (monthly auto-renewing subscription).
Length: 1 month, automatically renewing.
Price: $9.99 USD per month (or the equivalent price displayed in your local currency and App Store region at time of purchase), charged to your Apple ID account.
What's included: unlimited roses, profile boosts, and other features marked "Premium" in the App.
Auto-renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews for the same 1-month period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to at purchase.
Managing & canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings after purchase (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS, or the equivalent on the platform you purchased through). Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
Refunds: Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
9. Termination & Account Deletion
We may suspend or permanently ban your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or conduct harmful to the community. Your right to use the App ceases immediately upon termination. You may delete your own account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, BE ERROR-FREE, OR RESULT IN ANY MATCHES OR RELATIONSHIPS. ONLINE MATCHING CARRIES INHERENT RISKS AND YOU INTERACT WITH OTHER USERS AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE FOLLOWING OUR SAFETY GUIDELINES.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUPIDCROWD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CupidCrowd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CupidCrowd is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations. You waive the right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after such notice constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
