Our Community
CupidCrowd is built on trust. Our voting system only works when people participate with honesty and goodwill. These guidelines protect everyone — including you. Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
1. Be Authentic
Use real, recent photos of yourself. Your primary photo must clearly show your face. Do not use photos of celebrities, models, or anyone other than yourself. Provide accurate information about your age and identity. Fake profiles and catfishing are grounds for immediate permanent ban.
2. Be Respectful
Treat every person with dignity. Harassment, hate speech, threats, slurs, or targeted abuse based on gender, sexuality, race, religion, disability, or any other characteristic are strictly prohibited. This applies to messages, profile content, and all App interactions.
3. Vote Honestly
Vote based on your genuine, sincere assessment of compatibility. Do not manipulate scores through mass-voting, coordination with others, payment or favors, or automated tools. The integrity of our matching system depends on authentic community participation.
4. Appropriate Photos
Photos must show your face. Nudity, sexually explicit content, graphic violence, and images of minors are prohibited. Do not post photos that violate someone else's copyright or that show people who have not consented to appearing on a dating platform.
5. Zero-Tolerance Violations
These result in immediate, permanent account termination with no appeal: (a) Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors; (b) Threats of physical violence; (c) Solicitation of money or financial information from users; (d) Publishing another user's personal information without consent (doxxing); (e) Operating a fake account for fraud or deception.
6. No Solicitation
Do not use CupidCrowd to solicit money, promote commercial services, recruit for multi-level marketing, or advertise any business. Accounts used for commercial purposes will be terminated.
7. Reporting
Use the in-app flag (⚑) icon to report any content or behavior that violates these guidelines. Every report is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. You may also email safety@cupidcrowd.app for urgent concerns. We do not tolerate retaliation against users who report in good faith.
8. Enforcement
Violations are handled based on severity: Minor violations — formal warning; Repeated or serious violations — temporary suspension (1–30 days); Severe violations — permanent ban. You may appeal non-permanent actions by emailing appeals@cupidcrowd.app.
